When developing an EMP its important to consider the set up of the site, proximity to external hazards, and other important information to ensure that the EMP is specific to the site.

Procedures to follow in the event of an emergency

Follow the below procedures if an emergency occurs in the workplace / work site:

- Provide first aid if someone is injured and stay with them (if safe to do so)

- Arrange for someone to meet the ambulance at the front of the site when they arrive

- Remain at the evacuation assembly area

- Arrange for someone to meet the fire service at the front of the site
Hazardous atmosphere procedures
